We welcome new patients for virtual doctor appointments, telephone visits, or in-person examinations requiring a doctor assessment.
Our Women’s Health physicians are exceptionally trained to handle your concerns with gynecological issues. Service options include testing for sexually transmitted infections, emergency contraception (including emergency IUD insertion), breast examination, menstrual bleeding disorder management, menopausal disorder treatment, abortion access guidance, and contraception options counselling. We offer specialized services including the insertion or removal of an intrauterine contraceptive device (IUD), endometrial biopsies, and the insertion or removal of the contraceptive implant (Nexplanon®). We are pleased to provide you with information on how to find abortion services and manage your care post-abortion. Once it is the right time for you to consider pregnancy, our women’s health doctors will guide you through the pre-conception period and refer you for maternity care once you are pregnant.
We offer menopause consultations by a NAMS certified menopause practitioner (Dr. Lana Lipkowitz). Menopause counselling is not covered by MSP. However, MSP does pay for relevant lab work, imaging, and a physical exam (if necessary). Pay-per-visit menopause counselling appointments can be conducted either in person or via secure video teleconference and cost $450 (and last an hour).
